Nutrition Journal is recommended by top U.S.-licensed doctors on HealthTap!

Track your macronutrient, vitamin, and mineral intake from Vitamin A to Zn with Nutrition Journal, the only diet app that lets you track over 30 nutrients for nearly 100,000 foods.

Our database contains DETAILED nutrition data on nearly 100,000 commonly eaten foods, including restaurant foods and supermarket brands.

Most calorie and nutrition trackers only track a handful of nutrients, with no vitamin and minerals. Nutrition Journal tracks over 30 nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and macronutrients.

With a few taps, you can generate a daily eating log of all your meals, then get a comprehensive analysis of your nutrition.

Weve included RDA and Adequate Intake values for each vitamin and mineral, so you can see and chart how what youve logged compares to the U.S. recommendation.

In addition, weve included a calorie counter feature. Creating your profile calculates your estimated caloric needs. Set a weight change goal and it will update your calorie goal.

Pros and cons of Nutrition Journal for iPhone - vitamin and mineral diet calculator & nutrient tracker app for iPhone and iPad

Nutrition Journal for iPhone - vitamin and mineral diet calculator & nutrient tracker app good for

Very good. The app has helped me greatly when I needed most. Wish it was available on other platforms such as Playbook!
I love this app...the loading times arent that bad, just a little annoying. I love the way it is set up with the charts and the lists and the nutritional info. What I would really like to see added is the option to make my own recipes, such as my homemade soup. I look up all the ingredients separately as to calories, carbs and protein, then find a soup in the list that is closest to what I have. Works good. It was $3.00 well spent.
Its everything I was looking for all in one and easy to use. I can log the foods I consume and add my own foods in the database too. Plus, I can keep track of my supplements and add in nutrient values. At the end of the day I can clearly see what nutrients Im lacking which gives me more motivation to do better tomorrow. A+
Exactly what is promised and exactly what I needed. Gives you a detailed analysis of all vitamins and minerals, plus it gives you a ratio of your fats:proteins:carbs based on your caloric intake. Good app guys.
Exactly what I was looking for to monitor my nutrition during my pregnancy. Im naturally slim and think I eat enough but tracking my meals makes me confident my baby will get enough as well.
I was wanting an easy way to calculate protein intake. This app not only provided that. It provided full macro and micronutrient tracking based upon the foods you enter. Also. You enter "egg" and you get normal eggs as the first result. Can select sizes so easily. I know nutrition is more than calorie in/out but it provides a great calorie composite pie chart of macros. Will recommend to my family

Some bad moments

Who has time to scroll thru hundreds of foods, wheres the search? Want my money back
Agreed! The search is not useful at all! The engine needs to be improved. Also amazingly enough theres no category for supplements! Wobat needs to add popular brand name multivitamins or I want my money back aswell!
Id prefer putting in activities insteax of having a set daily intake (needed when cutting). Custom foods doesnt let you use decimals, nore does it let you edit custom foods or duplicate and edit. Custom foods also takes 10-20 seconda to load. Annoying! Nutrition is great it be helpfu thoughl to give the option to put in the percentage as most panels are listed as such. Needs work has the potential to be great if the developer wants it to be.
Bummed to pay for an app that is mediocre when there are so many great free ones. This one is LACKING. Takes a LONG time to access food lists, not intuitive or even an attractive interface, firm volumes i.e. blueberries - 1 Cup or customizing. Really, blueberries? They are generic and so easy; couldnt you add 1/2 Cup? Who eats a cup at a time? If MyFitnessPal could incorporate the nutrition data from this app then that would be the winner. Its unlikely Im going to use this. Reinforces the lesson - stick with free apps; the paid for ones disappoint.
I downloaded because of the detailed list of Vitamins and Minerals, but no barcode scan, no saving of own recepies, no sharing with friends possible and just not as handy as FitnessPal. And food choice just horrible
Benzer ücretsiz app.lerden cok daha kötü. Paraniza yazik. // Worse than many other free apps similar to it. Not worthy
